Ornate Music continues in its mission to reach out to the freshest talent in the house and techno scene by shining a light on emergent German talent Faune, following last year’s stellar releases by Ka One & St-Sene and Homepark.
Thus far, Jakob Panthel’s production as Faune has been spotted on the Soundscape Versions label, while under his own name he has produced two albums released digitally on Crystalline Days. Most recently, he delivered the four-track Isvatten EP to Tuesday Slump, which operates out of his native Munich. As well as his rising release schedule, he has been appearing frequently on the circuit in Munich and Berlin, performing alongside the likes of A Made Up Sound, Stefan Jòs and Skudge.
On this EP Panthel delivers three tracks of deep, hardware-powered techno with a keen dancefloor instinct, fitting right in to the ethos of Ornate and marking another step forward for Faune.
