Having worked together since the early 80s, Holger Czukay teams up with Jah Wobble and Jaki Liebezeit once again to remix some of his best work. Featuring four long tracks spread over four sides of this luxurious and very limited double clear vinyl 10” gatefold-sleeved LP, this is yet another Claremont 56 release you can't do without. "Music In The Air" features drifting ambient soundscapes with wheezing acordions, plucked harp, and quivering strings. Atmospheric, mysterious and slightly unsettling, it's perfect for a sit-down late night session with something potent to put in your pipe. "Sudetenland" has a more rhythmic, krautrock feel to it, albeit on an acoustic level, with spoken vocals from Czukay and sample of those wonderful Bulgarian vocalists beloved by 4AD. "The East Is Red" takes a whimsical turn, matching USSR military brass with Hawaiian guitars and a rolling drum pattern plus oddball percussion. Lastly "Dream Again" will have you hiding under the duvet; ominous drones are peppered with loose percussion, clanking bells and distant vocals. Very dark and very cinematic.
