Reissue of the original 1977 Island Records 12” release of guitar maestro Steve Winwood’s grooviest Balearic rock moments. First up is the 2012 doomsday prophesier's anthem ‘Time Is Running Out’, a floor-friendly disco rock gem with great guitar work and vocals from Mr Winwood and a sweet rhythm section supplied by Jim Copaldi and legendary Ghanaian percussionist Rebop Kwaku-Baah. Flip over for ‘Penultimate Zone’, a wonderfully deep spaced-out cosmic groover that received heavy rotation on Italy’s Cosmic scene and early Ibiza parties as well as finding favour with David Mancuso at his legendary NYC Loft.
