French dance-pop purveyors Yelle return in 2011 with their long awaited second album, the exotically addictive "Safari Disco Club". Adding depth and experience to the sweet & sour pop cocktail found on their acclaimed 2007 debut "Pop-Up", Yelle find themselves in a more reflective mood and have learnt a few new tricks during their time off.

If "Pop-Up" was a breakout set of fun-loving bawdy pop, "Safari Disco Club" is its sharper, wiser sibling. Sonically deeper and multi-layered, emotionally more diverse, SDC defines Yelle's style and elevates them beyond any scenes to find a unique pop voice. It's the sound of a band maturing and hitting its stride. As GrandMarnier (one of the three Yelle-ites) explains; "Pop-Up" was produced differently, we did "Je Veux Te Voir" then waited two or three months, then started another song... "Safari Disco Club" is a more fluid, cohesive album."
