Last year saw the rise of a very special deejay, one proficient in the art of capturing the essence of club culture with his unique brand of big-room techno and pulsating deep house. Eric Estornell, either as Maetrik or Maceo Plex, emerged as a monolithic force in 2011 and summertime gifted him the rare privilege of plying his trade on one of the biggest nights in the dance music calendar – Cocoon's closing party in Amnesia, Ibiza. Estornel's hour of electronic soul and pumping euphoria impressed the Cocoon crew so much they felt compelled to release the full experience as a CD. So here it is, a deep symphony of astounding electronica, an immersion of tranquillising techno and hypnotic house vibes together with all the atmospheric thrills and spills of a live performance. Tracks such as the incredible 'Crush on Me' and the alluring 'Under the Sheets', as well as a handful of unreleased numbers, and a couple of remixes (Silicone Soul, Popof), make for a truly incredible set that cannot be missed by fans of techno, house, and live electronic music.
