This 12” is limited to 500 copies on heavyweight vinyl. Each record sleeve is custom screenprinted with metallic silver artwork and text. Each 12” is hand numbered and hand stamped with the Dobie logo Dobie was a crate boy for Soul II Soul in the 80s, and then he made an album with Howie B and a solo album for Pussyfoot in the 90s. He’s done a recent EP for Brownwood, as well as remixes for Wiley and Roots Manuva. This is his debut EP for Big Dada.· Known for his innovative ‘Brit hop’ and spacethumping soul, Dobie (Tony Campbell) has worked with and remixed groundbreaking artists ranging from Björk, Massive Attack, Tricky and Gang Starr, to London Posse, Wookie, Les Négresses Vertes and Rodney P, amongst many others. The music on ‘Nothing To Fear’ is driving, urgent electronica, both raw and at the same time beautifully arranged into brilliant songs; what Dobie calls ‘Crunch Music’. Think cutting edge electronic with a punk aesthetic and a hip hop edge.
