Sunless ‘97 return with their second release, this time on brilliantly diverse label Not Even. The two tracks further display the honest eclecticism found at the heart of the three-piece’s music. There is a strong sense of growth in Sunless '97's new songs; unfolding flecks of Kosmische, psychedelia, ambient, crushed house, all imagined through a pure pop sensibility.

This poly-pop ripples and churns and funks, bolstered with kaleidoscopic saxophone courtesy of Cameroonion musician Yebga Likoba (Gil Scott Heron). Co produced and mixed by David Wrench (Caribou, Bear In Heaven), the sounds swirl from ear to ear, dashing across the spectrum before interweaving again. This is music made with a raw energy and pays tribute to the group's catholic tastes.
