Steffen Laschinski has graced the deep house community with some chasm deep goodness this year via the Kristofferson, Kristofferson label operating as both Rising Sun and Kristofferson. Arriving on the newly minted Disco Dance Records, both of these musical personas are adopted by Laschinski once again with consummate results on the Where There Is Love 12”. Firstly, the uncredited title track is gifted a Krisfoffersen Club mix which in essence sounds like DJ Sprinkles in classic house mode, all dust flecked drums and deeply infectious vocal hooks. Complementing this, Laschinski edits himself as the Rising Sun track "Last Train Disco Hell" gets nudged into soft focus beatdown territory by the Kristofferson Hellsinki edit. If you’ve been paying attention to previous Kristofferson output you’ll be all over this release.
