Guajira Reboogaloo" is the second suonho's output on Glenview Records Inc. featuring two sides of bumping Latinsoul / Boogaloo rhythms served on a shining limited yellow 7inch ! On side A the unmistakable Fania sounding Ralph Robles's "Taking Over", taken from 1968 LP "Conquistando", get a new life with a brand new rhythm section borrowed from both Wilson Pickett and Arthur Conley masters! Result is a tumultuous latin-soul take with a strong boogaloo accent! On Side B suonho flips the Puerto Rican singer and bandleader Tito Rodriguez with "Mi Guajira Si", taken from the 1968 album "Big Band Latino". This track got new beats and percussions modeled on a solid 60's Henri Mancini pattern .....and deliver an irresistible floor shaking Northern-latin-soul bounce! Rare gems reworked with Suonho's trademark genuine touch, that inject a load of energy without touching the original feeling!
