Psychemagik's ‘Lunar Escape EP’ is their first original studio EP, 3 diversely eclectic tracks, no samples, no edits, all tracks written and produced by the duo.The opening track ,‘Where Are We?’, is a full frontal cosmic odyssey, with chainsaw arpeggios, delirious disco basslines, with beats that would crash meteors, bugged out vocoders and synth lines that mesmerise, this epic cut takes you truly into galactic bliss. Of the next track, ‘Bass Purr’, Psychemagik have said “we had fun mixing up genres and exploring a more experimental route. This nasty bass line found a life of it own and took us into territories unknown”, enjoy the ride! The climax of a lunar escape is when you break through the clouds on your ascent to a new atmosphere. On ‘Above The Clouds’, the EP’s final track, Psychemagik employed a 17 piece orchestra in Air Studios to help them get their point across, working with the talented string arranger Richard Chester.
