Back to back, two of Greg Wilson's best-loved edits of recent times reactivated on one indispensable 12".'I Was A Teenage DJ Pt1 (Extnd)' was originally issued on the now highly sought after Teenage DJ Disco Best 12" from 2005, which, only recently, was reported to be on sale for $90 from one US supplier! The lead track, featured here, became an underground dance essential on a global scale, Wilson well and truly working and re-working this superb groove to shine a whole new light on it's source, the intro section of KC & The Sunshine Band's 70's hit, 'I'm Your Boogie Man'.Missy Elliot and Imagination provide the main ingredients for 'Gotta Keep Workin' It', but if you listen closely you'll discover a sprinkling of further flavours all mashed into the melting pot, which, when combined and brought to the boil, serve up a real downtempo bass driven treat. Originally on vinyl in 2006 via Young Dog Alien, and oozing the sensuality of its subject matter, it's no wonder that this has been particularly favoured by the females out on the floor.
