The second outing on Frittomorto is by Subway who have previous releases on Nuphonic, Sunday Best and Souljazz....they also have a forthcoming album on Souljazz. The a-side CS-87 is exactly the sort of tackle that you would expect Mathew Jonson to come up with if he was born twenty years earlier and had met Vince Lawrence and Ron Hardy in an all night gentlemen's sauna. The flip side "Second Sign" sounds a bit like Black Dog before they went crap.
