Championed by Gilles Peterson, the highly talented young Floating Points deliver two slices of psychedelic soul and synthfunk squiggles on this their debut 12" for Planet Mu. Underpinned by squashed up 2-step rhythms and compressed hip hop drums, this is on par with anything by Hud Mo or Mike Slott, but with a houseier touch. We are big fans of it! This is looking like Floating Points' year!
