Soft Rocks needs no introduction, and the Blackdisco boys are more than proud to collaborate with these fine gentleman selectors from Brighton on the 4th volume in this series. Side A stirs up some mid-tempo funky noodles on "Spank" then quickly picks up the pace with some raw basslines and choppy tambourines on "You Never Know When" while Side B layers beautifully euphoric choir vocals over a loft-like afro vibe on "Back To My Roots" and drops us off in the east with "Bagwan Boogie". This lot of funky delights brings the perfect blend of sleazy sounds to the Summer party.
