For their latest vinylicious edition, Cosmic Boogie sound a fanfare for two genuine legends of the groove - Greg Wilson and Ian Dewhirst. Greg you already know, but Ian might be unfamiliar despite a truly illustrious career. Mastercuts, the seminal series of dance compilations that Ian devised in the 90's was only part of a veritable goldmine of hundreds of albums he has compiled down the years - check your sleevenotes, you're bound to have some in your collection. First appearing on 1994's Crown Heights Affair 'Deep Beats' comp, 'Dreaming A Dream' is a vintage Dewhirst edit that ticks all the correct Disco boxes - the track being a Blackpool Mecca favourite back in '75, when Ian was known as DJ Frank on the Northern Soul scene.
