Next up on Eglo Records after the seriously massive "Vacuum Boogie EP" by Floating Points, is the debut release of West London's Stevie J aka FunkinEven 1956, featuring Hackney's new Queen of Funk & Soul, Fatima on vocal duties. "Kleer" has already got quite a few peeps going mad over it, and the track is slowly building a reputation at a number London's underground jams and warehouse parties. Sonically it occupies a similar stratosphere to Dam Funk, Sa Ra, Bugz In The Atitic, Dorian Concept, Joker etc - but with a West London twist and deeply crafted vocal melody. Ultra limited kleer (sic) vinyl copies!
