Hot on the heels of number 4 Wolf Music come up with a fifth 12" of excellent disco-house pressure. PBR Streetgang aka Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe are a production duo who have been gaining respect from the likes of Crazy P, Greg Wilson, Nic Fanciulli and Ralph Lawson to name but a few.
On the EP opener ,"Silas" they've come up with a really groove-on-down house cut with funky disco edges. Nice and fat. Next up they remix the super-hot Eddie C (Flashback, Sleazy Beats), taking his "My Woman" on a deep shuffling disco-house trip. On the flip we head back to PBR's own stuff and another funky-disco-house bomb; "Funny Money". Percussion, bass-stabs, wucka-wucka guitars and plenty of cowbell action. It's Hamilton Bohannon with extra oomph. Brighton's Soft Rocks finish the 12" off with a remix of "Funny Money", taking the track on a jackin' house journey - one of the best mixes / tracks they've done recently. Another killer collectable from Wolf Music.
