Bpitch Ctrl head honcho - Ellen Allien returns with a first taster of her forthcoming album "Dust". "Flashy Flashy" is a certified dancefloor bomb, with it's angular synth riff, chunky beat and general (good) oddness - including the androgynous vocals. The Alexi Delano remix brings it to darker techno territories, but it's the Nicolas Jaar remix that'll be the one everyone's after. His first outing since the unexpected success of "A Time For Us", Jaar drops the BPM's re-sings the vocals (or at least we think so) and completely re-imagines the track as a romantic, discoid ballad complete with his trademark brakedown. Quite a genre-bender - will be big!
