Whether it be New York in the late 70’s, London in ’89 or Berlin in the mid-00’s, there have been so many cities that have enjoyed dance music’s spotlight over the years. Sounds of the City is a brand new mix series from Ministry’s specialist division that aims to provide a vivid snapshot of the music, clubs and DJs that defined the golden eras of their cities. This first release focuses on the Parisian underground house scene from the mid-90’s to early 00’s with the hugely influential Dan Ghenacia at the helm.
