Two excellently executed new versions of soul classics. On the A side, its a remix of Timmy Thomas' "Why Cant We Live Together" - its already been re-edited a few times this year but its a great update! Chuggs along gently with a tremendous groove, love the vocal and the percussive elements. The loose key riff really adds the finishing touch to this brilliant track! However, its the flip thats the killer here - a new update of Marlena Shaw's "Woman of The Ghetto", beefing up the bottom end but staying true to the original - including that much-sampled "Remember Me" vocal line!
