Palms Out is proud to present the second EP from Austin's Dubbel Dutch, the Throwback EP. The title track, "Throwback" is an ode to the old - starting out with a Baltimore break, the song finds its way to the perfect blend of booming sub bass, diva vocal chops, and cracking snares, until it all slips into the smoothest cool down you'll hear on a dancefloor this year - until it all lunges forward after a proper big dance floor drop. Styled old-school club music met with modern production. The B-side, "Deep Underground" has been seeing support from some of the biggest names in UK Funky & House. Darker than the A-side, this track roars out of the gate with a big bashment rhythm and haunting pianos, soon followed by a squelching lead & deep bass licks - a siren laced breakdown gives way for a perfect vocal sample, and a huge sub bass drop. "Fool In You" the second song on the B-side is likely also the smoothest song on the EP. Broken beats, smooth as butter bass sweeps, icy stabs, glimmering emotive leads, and deeply romantic vocal samples. This EP is bound to haunt many a dancefloor and house party for years to come.
