Another Blinding LP from the latest batch of Olde English Spelling Bee LPs that we're so excited to have gotten our grubby mitts on. Here Forest Swords offer us a truly sensational vision of the world, as fragments of vocal samples swim through a deep haze of processed guitar, bass, dubbed out drones and general widescreen visions. At times sounding like Burial making a 'Post-Rock' record (check 'Glory Gongs'), the breadth and scope of sounds and atmospheres contained within this LP are often staggering. It's a work of powerful beauty, and easily one of the most engaging and exciting "experimental" albums we've heard this year (or just albums of any sort).
