We continue our trek into the Welsh wilderness with Crow Castle Cuts... A medieval manuscript entitled "Fouke Le Fitz Waryn" claimed that the castle, known as "Chastiel Bran", was in ruin as early as 1073. The opening track comes from We Pplay House artists and Belgian buddies Maxim Lany & Lemakuhlar who give us an absolute killer Balearic beauty here with their stunning sunshine song "Exotic Guitar". We also introduce three hot new producers to CCC - local talent from the castles valley.
First up Studio Swiss create a deep flight over the Panorama with "Falcons Pass". The anonymous "Plas Vegas" makes his divine debut track "Horeshoe Fall" named after Llangollen’s picturesque waterfall and Taylor Made produce a melodic dance floor gem with "Glaswellt Gwyrdd", translating to "Greener Grass" inspired by their local forest meanders. Luv Jam treats us to a slow motion house off with "Romeo, The 1016ft High Fox" named after a Battersea urban fox found at the top of the under-construction Shard Skyscraper in London, once complete the tallest in the EU.
The EP concludes with more unusual mountainside sound effects from Glyn Ceriog. Once again very limited edition, 300 copies pressed on Cement Grey Vinyl by Breed Media, Forest Green hand stamped and hand sprayed in Montana F600 Acid Green, complete with an actual crows feather and another fairytale insert which concludes the Elves Dell story.
