Building up a nice head of dry ice, and hot on the heels of The Soul Part II(supported by the likes of Gerd Jansen, Afrilounge and Brothers Vibe),Delusions return in fine style. The original mix is as raw and stripped back as it gets with little more than a fat kick, rumbling bass and an echoing synth riff for company. Who needs hi hats anyway right? Franc Spangler may be a new name to most but after the remix delivered here we're pretty sure he'll be ruling tings soon enough. For his main mix he slows things down a touch for a truly deep and mesmerising reworking that hints at some of the finest Wave moments with it's layers of pads and dubbed out fx. On the flip, Franc's Rolling Dub which tweaks the arrangement and mix very slightly for a smoother ride and more subtle flow whilst maintaining all the drive and energy.
