Clone Basement Series is their latest venture into raw, no-nonsens techno and house. First up is Mike Dehnert with his solid "Umlaut" track that was overlooked by many when it was released on his own Fachwerk imprint. Mike is one of these up and coming talents with his own trademark sound. There's 3 unreleased verions of "Umlaut2" here - Mike's first unreleased mix, slightly housier than the original one and a new version which is a straigth up club tool. Big surprise here is the remix by Levon Vincent! The talented New Yorker has done an excellent job with his dirty, house version. Levon lays down a crazy groove with an old fashioned hook - very N.Y. house, and then molds it into a fierce techno track. Hot!
