Kieran Hebden is back with his 9th studio album and the follow-up to 'Morning / Evening' back in 2015. After teasing us with the beautifully melancholic 'Two Thousand and Seventeen' twelve earlier this year, we get 14 tracks of both dancefloor appeal and tracks reminiscent of his earlier work. The new age leanings found on his previous album is still present, featuring reverb-drenched plucked strings and evolving pads reminiscent of new age heroes such as Larajii and Steve Roach. LA Trance, featuring Buchla wizard Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, is particularly memorable, while the UK Garage leaning "SW9 9SL" perfectly blends KH's roots with his new sound palette.
