Who remembers Colonel Abrahams; the 80s garage house cat (from Detroit originally but brought up in NY) that had several albums to his name including a 12" on Strictly Rhythm as part of Brotherhood Of Soul with Roger Sanchez and Michael Watford)... Omar-S certainly does!
The inimmitable Detroit cat has just dropped an excellent collaborative 12" on FXHE featuring the Colonel on vocal duties, Amp Fiddler on Rhodes keys and of course none other than Alex "Omar" Smith himself. It's typical Omar-S style house with extra warmth courtest of Amp Fiddler's string arrangements and a great vocal delivery. Omar-S regular collaborator Shadow Ray weighs in with a punchier remix that will ignite any self respecting dancefloor plus there's a shorter 'R & B mix' rounding off the EP. You get a full picture sleeve too! You don't get that very often from an FXHE release now, do you?
