Alert ! Holy grail french reissue. French composer Jean Claude Oliver, a famous musician in the 60's, was maybe the first sitar owner in Paris. He played on timeless gems such as 'Psychasténie' from Serge Gainsbourg and many other french pop-psyche-jerk tracks. He had also his own project called Derboukas which was kind of crazy for late 60's to mix oriental vibes with eastern bossa or so. A true World music pioneer in a way ! The original 45 with 'Camel Bossa' tune released in 1968 is impossible to find and would cost you around 400 eur to get a copy. On the B side 'Caravan March' is also a great song from another 45 which combines psychedelic pop grooves with nice strings parts. For the very first time these 2 curiosities tracks are officially reissued by Pépite with love.
