On Tuesday 20th May Farringdon Factory will play host to a special screening of 'Practical Electronica', a documentary by Ian Helliwell, which explores the works of electronic music pioneer, F.C. Judd.

The film documents its protagonist as an important and overlooked link in the history of early British electronic music. It revolves around archive footage and stills, animation and experimental video techniques, and attempts to capture the essence of the period in which Fred was most active with electronic music. Watch the trailer below.

This is a lovely opportunity to see a unique film in an unusual location. The screening will take place in an impressive seven-storey ex-office building in the heart of Farringdon, where Inland Offshore are currently overseeing a schedule of artistic community events. Doors will open at 7.30pm and the film will begin at 8.30pm on the first floor, where there will also be drinks available at the bar. Entry is a £1 suggested donation. Facebook event HERE.

Hopefully see you there!
